who is Josh Maddocks?
I am a multi-award-winning magician and I have been performing since 2007.
Where are you based?
I’m Based in King’s Lynn on the east coast of the U.K but I can travel wherever the magic needs to be. Many of my gigs are booked in Milton Keynes and Northampton. In the past, I have worked in London, Cambridge, Kent, Peterborough, Luton, Dunstable, Essex, Weymouth, Somerset, Leeds and Nottingham just to name a few!
How much do you charge?
I try to keep the costs down as much as I can, so the price I charge for the second hour is drastically reduced, as I calculate my expenses into that initial hour.
Each gig is different therefore the price can change depending on the event. If you would like a free quote please submit a form, it takes less than a minute and I’ll reply within one hour!
Are you a member of The Magic Circle?
Yes! as of December 2021 I am a full member of the prestigious Magic Circle.
Where can I see you perform?
You can find me at Tipsy Teapot every Thursday at 8:00, Lost Lounge on the last Saturday of the Month and Jack’s at Woodlakes on the lat Friday of each month.
How easy is it to book in?
It’s super simple! I have added a page found here. Once I have confirmed your date is free, you pay a small refundable deposit to secure the date and that comes off the overall price. For the remainder you can either pay monthly or weekly or even the rest on the day of the event, some people do choose to pay in full but it’s completely your choice.

Are you insured?
Yes! I’m a member of Equity and I’m insured for 10 million pounds.
Can you perform at my child’s Birthday?
Yes, the magic I perform is intended for children aged 10+
I want to book you for a charity event, but don’t think I have the budget?
Fantastic, I often do a lot for charities and I have worked closely with Alzheimer and Cancer charities in the past. I carefully select gig’s I would like to do, and I do ask that basic expenses are covered, this is something we can discuss by submitting a form below.
Do you perform at BBQ’s?
You wouldn’t have thought it, but BBQ’s are just as big as weddings these days! I perform for all kind’s of events, including the obvious ones like Weddings, Birthdays, Bar/Bat-Mitzvahs, Charity/Summer balls, Corporate events, festivals and garden parties.
The way I see it the more obscure the better, I think there are very few events that a magician can’t enhance.
